Create a quick app prototype that enables leaders in company to accelerate their skills by watching bite-sized video courses anytime, anywhere. Gamification being at the core so that leaders can earn their rewards while learning.
CHALLENGE
Step 1: As this was a rapid prototyping exercise, collaborated with product owners and stakeholders to define the scope and requirements.

Step 2: Conducted a Design Studio with numerous UX designers, product owners and HR representatives
APPROACH
9 unique app sketched ideas initially (DS method is based on Quantity leads to Quality) from Studio. Post presentation of those 9 ideas, there was a dot voting for each screen so that best of the features are combined and reflected in the final prototype. Final result was an APP PTOTOTYPE (done in Marvel)

DESIGN STUDIO: This was a 1-day design studio project as Sabre HR was looking up to the UX team to help them build a learning app prototype for executives which was based on self-paced learning with built-in gamification. This app leaned heavily on the idea of learning from LinkedIn Learning but with a twist of gamification aka smart rewards system built-in. As part of this exercise, few selected UX folks along with all project main stakeholders were asked to come to a design studio with their pre-sketched ideas. Persona (from an existing library) was put up on the wall along with the sketches so that designs can be matched against user needs

Step 1:
All 9 participants presented their ideas, some of the pictures above are form that design studio workshop. Ideas were sketched beforehand from the project brief that was provided by the HR team. All sketched has 3 -5 common screens and were grouped as part of next steps post-presentation

Step 2:
All participants were asked to vote on the ideas (of each screen) and not on individual designs post the presentation. Top three ideas for each screen was groomed further as a team to ensure that best possible concepts and interaction were considered.

Step 3:
Final hashed ideas were further refined to create lo-fidelity wireframes, below sketches, are working musings of those. The next step was presenting these into a quick clickable prototype using Marvel. The project is currently in a funding state.

“IF A PICTURE IS WORTH THOUSAND WORDS THAN A PROTOTYPE IS WORTH A THOUSAND MEETINGS”
Quick User Flow: Initial user screen flow was drafted for being on same page with the members in the design studio
